Agriculture and Agrifood Systems of the Americas in the Face of the Middle East Conflict: Impacts, Vulnerabilities, and Collective Actions

A high-level dialogue organized by IICA that brings together Ministers of Agriculture from countries across the Americas and senior officials from the agricultural sector, along with international organizations, the private sector, and financial institutions, to analyze the effects of the conflict in the Middle East on agriculture—particularly in energy, fertilizers, logistics, and prices—and to advance collective actions that strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of the region’s agrifood systems.
